Valentine's Day is the most romantic day of the year! We all lead pretty busy lives, and Valentine's day is a day that forces us to take a moment to do something special and appreciate the one that we love because lets face it; the romance can sometimes get completely lost due to our day to day routines.
The best part for me when anticipating a big night (or day) out, is of course, the outfit! I wanted to inspire my fellow fashionistas to try something a little different from the traditional "Red" on Valentine's Day, so I opted for a softer color. Something that exuded romance and femininity. Why not a beautiful shade of Blush Pink?!
A solid look with a monochromatic color scheme is always chic. I layered this gorgeous Blush Pink robe jacket over a delicate lace Blush Pink dress. It was a cold day in Brooklyn, so you only get to see little peeks of the dress here and there but trust me, the dress is STUNNING! I kept the accessories simple and sleek. The tiny heart shaped stud earrings looked amazing when paired with a blingy choker. Heart shaped sunnies scream Valentine's Day without being too over the top. Tying this look together are the perfect pair of Silver mesh pumps with vibrant Pink bottoms.
For the makeup, I wanted to go full on Valentine's Day glam, and MUA LUISA PUMA did a fantastic job! From the glittery eyebrows, the ultra sexy lashes, and the color of the Lipstick she chose. It was dazzling down to the last detail!
These images would not have turned out as fabulous as they did if it wasn't for Mr. HANS ALCINDOR! It was freezing and at times uncomfortable, but he made it all bearable with his laughter and patience!
I hope this look inspired all of my Fashionistas out there to think outside of the Ol' "RED" Valentine's Day heart shaped box! Don't be afraid to take chances with your fashion! Dress to the beat of your own drum, even if it goes against what everyone else is doing!
